Unit 3

Brilliant does a nice job of explaining phase changes. They state all the different phases there, and different examples for each. It even discusses the various phase equilibria, phase change diagrams, and latent heat. They do a nice job of including graphics throughout the page, so people have a reference.

On this site, NASA states what the kinetic theory of gases is and how it helps us explain the space between molecules and the motion of molecules. It includes explanations of pressure, energy, and temperature and how they all have a part in this theory. This site also shows pictures and gives opportunities for different age groups to learn about science and complete activities based on certain topics.

This site introduces the famous Greek atomists. It explains their beliefs and views on atoms and matter itself. Some of them we mentioned in class, but there is more to be explored here. https://www.normalesup.org/~adanchin/causeries/Atomists.html

In this video, FUSESCHOOL demonstrates what Brownian Motion is and how we can see it in everyday things, such as the dust particles in the air. They introduce Robert Brown and how he made this discovery. The demonstrations shown would be helpful in any classroom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m5JnJBq2AU
