Hello!

My name is Emily (Kollbaum) Woodall. I was born in Iowa, but have lived in Missouri for most of my life. Now, I live in Center Point, IA. I graduated from Cole Camp R-1 High School in 2013. I am the middle child of five children. I have two older brothers, Zach and Jordan, a younger brother, Ryan, and a younger sister, Abigail.  I come from a family of educators. My father, Todd, is a pastor and works for the LCMS as the Director of Rural and Small Town Missions. My mother, Angie, was a 5th and 6th-grade teacher at Immanuel Lutheran School in Higginsville, MO. My oldest brother and his wife are educators in Lincoln, NE. My second oldest brother lives in Pocatello, ID where his wife serves as a teacher at their Lutheran school. I got married on June 2, 2018, to Dylan Woodall. He is a high school math teacher at Valley Lutheran school in Cedar Falls, IA.

When I was in middle school, I found that I had a passion for theatre. I continued to pursue this passion through high school and, through the help of several teachers, I found a passion for English as well. I attend Concordia University, Seward, NE. I have been active in theatre, Alpha Psi Omega, Sigma Tau, IMPROVables, writing for the Sower newspaper, and A Cappella Choir. I will graduate in December of 2017. I have truly enjoyed my educational experience at Concordia, but I cannot wait to teach English, Theology, and Theatre on a daily basis and share my passion for my subject areas. Concordia has prepared me to take all I have learned and become the best teacher I can be.
