To teach English, Theology, and Theatre in a Lutheran school at the middle or secondary level, in either a departmental or self-contained classroom, and to assist with the volleyball or softball program and direct theatre productions.

Student Teacher

  • Lincoln Southeast High School – Lincoln, NE
    • Instructed 10th graders on Demonstrative and Informative speech construction and presentation.
    • Created lessons for Demonstrative and Informative speeches incorporating the use of Google Classroom for instruction.
    • Created lessons for a Listening unit. 
    • Used television shows, songs, and movie clips to teach and demonstrate listening skills. 
    • Led and chaperoned Student Council activities
  • Lutheran High School West – Rocky River, OH
    • Instructed 9th graders on research papers and a unit about identity.
    • Utilized the students one to one chrome books to teach research and writing and to incorporate review games such as Kahoot and Quizizz.  
    • Created a unit titled Our Identity and incorporating a play written by my cooperative teacher called “Saturday Morning Sinners”, “The Necklace” by Guy de Maupassant, and “Sherlock Holmes: The Man with the Twisted Lip” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
    • Participated as a worship leader in chapel every Thursday morning.

    • Taught 6th grade Language Arts and Literature.
    • Taught 7th grade Religion, Language Arts, and Literature.
    • Taught 8th grade Language Arts.

    • Taught the book Freak the Mighty to 7th grade using a book report menu using different styles of learning as the summative assessment.

Special Interests

I have always loved being outdoors and exploring this wonderful world God has created. I enjoy acting, reading, writing, spending time with my family, and anything involving animals.
