Philosophy of Education

  • I believe that every child has potential to be successful and as a teacher I have the power to help them reach it.

  • I believe that children still need structure in school and should meet requirements with the help of teachers, because it builds a stronger community.
  • I believe that education has changed and will continue to change. It is necessary to change along with it, because as society changes so do the methods of learning.
  • I believe that teachers must be respect their students, because without respect it is hard to create positive relationships.
  • I believe that teachers must be enthusiastic, because positivity spreads through the class and enthusiasm motivates students.
  • I believe that students interest must be taken into account when teaching so that they can correlate it to their own life.
  • I believe that technology should be integrated into education because it is used more and more in everyday life.
  • I believe that teachers should provide students with clear, fair, and consistent rules to build communication and accountability of one another.
  • I believe the students need to know that their teacher truly cares about them and their success in school and life to build a positive learning experience.
  • I believe that grading should serve as a means of communication to the students about areas that both the teacher and students need to work on.
