Field Experiences

Below you will find a link to a video I created during my first semester at Concordia. This video is an overview of the day long “shadow day” I completed for my Teaching as a Profession class.

Following this shadow day experience I have had countless opportunities to spend time in the classroom learning from a variety of different teachers and age groups. I have been able to learn and grow in the following classrooms:

• Seward Elementary School (4^th Grade Literacy)
• John Lutheran School (1^st Grade)
• John Child Development Center (4 Year Old Preschool)
• John Child Development Center (3 Year Old Preschool)
• Bright Beginnings Daycare (Infant 1 Room)
• St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School (One-on-one aid for a Kindergarten student with Down Syndrome)

Starting in January 2019, I will receive the opportunity to be a Student Teacher in a combined 3rd and 4th grade class at East Butler Elementary School in Dwight, NE.
