Here are three goals that I focused on while at Concordia:
- Strengthen my relationship with Christ
- Gain as much experience working with children as possible
- Become organized in all areas of my life
I am a part of professional development groups such as:
- AMLE- Association for Middle Level Education
- LEA- Lutheran Education Association
My goal is to teach in any type of middle level setting, with emphases in language arts and/or mathematics.
During teaching, I want to:
- Obtain a Master’s degree
- Even as a teacher, I never want to stop being a student and learner
- Improve my classroom
- Be involved in professional development
- Constantly reflect on classroom progress
- Stay up-to-date with current teaching information
- Try new things in my classroom
- Improve outside of the classroom
- Become involved in a Bible study
- Coach or assist in coaching a team
- Go on mission trips
