Bethel Series

The Bethel Series is an exercise I used to grow my skills in logo design and is not used commercially. I have developed a passion for redesigning church branding, and the Bethel Series is one of my first explorations into this newfound activity.

Logia Spread Redesign

Logia is an LCMS Lutheran journal of theology that, while being a great place to hear about theological developments, has a less than desirable layout design. My aim was to create a contemporary look for the journal. Like the Bethel Series, this too was a design exercise and not used commercially.

AM Series

Commissioned branding by Andrew McGovern, a personal fitness trainer who wanted to relate his client’s physical goals to climbing Mount Everest. This not only inspires his clients when they
“climb their Everest” and complete their fitness milestones but also gives insight into Andrew’s personal life, as climbing Mount Everest is a personal achievement he hopes to accomplish.

Fenton Logistics Logo

This logo is concept branding for Fenton Logistics, a package delivery company. While logistics companies are best known for their package handling and delivery, this is only one aspect of a logistics company’s duties. This logo focuses on the driving aspect of logistics while still nodding to the package handling that is common to most.

Google HTML

Google HTML was a semester-long project in which I was tasked with developing event branding for an existing company. My aim was to design branding which was easily recognizable as both Google and a web development competition. This project was a solid exercise in designing within the constraints of an existing brand.

Richard

Inspired by my initial logo design, Richard is a decorative typeface that uses geometric forms as well as flowing curves to create an elegant yet striking font
