I attended the Nebraska Golf Show on February 1 and 2 of 2019. This was an interesting show to me as I have a passion for golf and I love the game of golf. I have been involved in the game all growing up and pursued the game even more in high school and college. This golf conference was to inform people about the game of golf and to welcome golfers of all different levels to come and experience all the brand new clubs that were released, experience the new clothes and attire that was available, and there was also lessons that were being given in a large group. It was amazing seeing how many people actually were there and had an interest in the game because it seems like it is on a decline of popularity, but hopefully it is back on the rise. I walked around and talked to many people at the conference as I would like to find my profession in the golf industry. I learned where golf had started and was founded, and I also learned about how limited the technology was when the game first originated and it is amazing to see where the game has came from then to now. Everything in the game has change in some way or another. The clubs keep improving each and every year, the golf balls are improving, and the attire keeps changing to more modern, but still you find the few who love to have the tradition and dress like when the game first originated. There was so much to learn at the conference and it keeps amazing me where the game had started and to where the game is now.
