I am choosing to write about “There Is a Plan”
- I chose this essay because I believe that God has a plan for each individual and everyone will be apart of a plan whether they think that there is a plan or not.
- This piece was effective because it was re-assuring that there are believers out there who know that God has a plan for everyone no matter how rough they think their life is or how life is going at the time. God has a plan for each individual.
- This lady communicated her beliefs by telling some of her life and about the trouble times in life but yet those times did not stop her from believing that God has a plan for her life.
- The essay affected me personally because I could picture other troubles that people go through to maybe make them believe that there isn’t a plan. When I was dealing with my cancer and my health issues I didn’t think that God had a plan other than to give me a tough battle. I didn’t realize that God has a plan for me till this past summer when I devoted my life to God and becoming a believer. There is a plan no matter what.
- What really influenced her beliefs is her living her life. She is in Ohio for a reason because God had a plan for her to be there and God planned everything she does out.
- The tone of this essay was serious and could tell she wanted to get a message across to the listeners and help them realize what their plan might be.
- The essay made me feel relieved and happy in a way because it proves that everyone has a plan for their life and the man upstairs controls it. There is a plan no matter how rough times may be.
People will often say to me, “I’m so sorry to hear about your cancer” or they will ask “how are you doing?” I’m not sure how I am supposed to respond to those. In the beginning when I was first diagnosed with osteosarcoma I thought of all the worst things that could happen to me. The biggest one being that I could die. When a 15-year-old kid hears the word cancer they think of dying. Then on top of that you have people asking you those questions and I have to lie and tell them “I am okay” when really I am not because I have cancer and I have to fight for my life. Now after devoting my life to God I believe that he has a plan for each individual. Times may get tough and scary, thinking that there is nothing going to get better, but just remember that the man upstairs has a plan. I am a believer in God and I believe that there is a plan for each human being in the world.
