Unit 2 Web Links

https://www.sciencelearn.org.nz/resources/47-colours-of-light

This website is all about how we see colors, and how colors look under different lights. What I like about this website is that it includes many visuals (pictures and videos) to help explain how we see light and colors. This website references a wide variety of the topic of colors and light such as visible light, colors of objects, color detection, and mixing colors.

This is a youtube video of an episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy explaining light and color. He begins by describing white light and how all colors are in it, yet we only see one color. The rest of the episode is explaining how we see colors and how colors look under light, as well as explaining black and how it absorbs colors whereas white reflects all colors.

This website explains how 3D movies work. It discusses the science behind it and how 3D glasses work and why we need them when watching 3D movies.

This is a fun video to watch while wearing 3D glasses. After reading the website above about how 3D films work, it’s fun to experience it by watching the rollercoaster video.
