Overall Coaching Vision:
-
To intentionally develop the body, mind, and soul of young men to empower them to keep an eternal perspective in helping them become great sons, brothers, friends, husbands, and teammates
Coaching Philosophy
- Grace-based coaching which shows athletes that they are not measured or valued by statistics or performance, rather that they are loved unconditionally regardless of performance
- I will not degrade, berate, or cuss at players, rather coaches will respectfully pinpoint the mistake and teach how to perform the skill correctly
- Grace-based coaching will remove fear of failure, which will free the athlete to perform at the highest level
- I will model and live out the core values of the program
- I will aim to produce a player-led program
“A Coach is somebody who gets people to do what they don’t want to do, in order to attain that which they want to attain.”
– Tom Landry
