About Me

I am from Surprise, Nebraska and live on a fifth generation family farm. I attended David City Public Schools (drove 30 miles every day for school) and graduated with honors in 2016.

Then I joined the Concordia’s Shotgun Shooting Sports Team, formerly known as the Trap and Skeet team. My plan is to graduate Concordia in four years, which I am on track to do currently with a Strategic Communications Major.

For the past two summers I have been an intern for Central Valley Agriculture (CVA). For the first summer I was a Field Sales Agronomist and Last year I had a partnered internship with Winfield United and CVA entering in seed and field data, messing around with drones, and working with new farm technology.

My goal is to eventually come back and work the family farm with my brothers, but I can’t make a stable living off that now, so workforce here I come! I will graduate CUNE in May of 2020 and obtain a career that has a communications focus.

The Radius Rule: I have this goal/plan/rule that I want to live no further than thirty miles from my parents. I want this becasue I refuse to live in any city rural or urban and I need to stay close for the farm. I also need to be there for my grandparents and my mom and dad. It may seem silly, but it’s what I want in my future. Plus, the view I get every morning and evening is simply unbeatable.

I love all the Constitutional Amendments, but the second has to be my favorite. I have been shooting guns all my life and competitively since the fifth grade. I believe that people are scared of guns because: (1) lack of knowledge about how to use them and what they do. (2) Without proper knowledge the media can fill you mind with garbage that simply isn’t true. I’ve competed at Nationals with my teammates and have learned life lessons in the process.

Photography is a huge aspect of my life. I love to capture moments at family reunions, holidays, and birthdays. Being able to keep and collect physical pictures of moments and share them with others decades later is so fascinating.

I also love my dog, Po.
