Wedding and Special Occasion Alteration
We offer high-quality alterations right in your own home. We bring all the specialty to you, this allows the alterations process to be stress-free. Leaving you free to worry about the important things. Because this process is specifically for you, we don’t give pricing over the phone. We offer free consultations for pricing and timeline estimations.
Guidelines:
- Pricing is determined by the construction of the garment and the alterations need for the perfect fit for you.
- Detail work is more time consuming and does cost more.
- Garments are carefully examined during your first fitting and an approximate* cost of the work can be offered at this time.
- I do accept rush* alterations. $25 for bridesmaids, $50 for Prom/Homecoming/Occasion dresses, and $100 for bridal gowns.
- To get the right fit for your garment, you will need all garments you plan to wear with your dress. This includes your shoes, bra, shapewear (ie. Spanx), corsets, etc. Changing of ANY these items after the first fitting will increase the cost of the alterations.
- A fitting document for each dress must be signed before alterations begin. Payment in full at the final fitting and signed final fit document is required.

What to expect from the alteration process
Formal Wear
- First fit / Consultation appointment – this appointment is meant to view and assess the work that will need to be done on the garment. The first fitting is typically part of the consultation appointment. You will try on your garments and the fitting will be done. At the end of this appointment, fitting documents must be signed, and the second appointment will be scheduled.
- Second fit / third fit – most formal wear (i.e. bridal gowns, prom etc.) will only need two or three fittings. At this appointment, you will try on your garments and final alterations will be made if needed. Another appointment will be made to ensure the perfect fit has been achieved.
- Final fit – at this appointment you will try on your garment for a final view. At this point, your payment is due in full by CASH or CREDIT CARD and final fitting documents will be signed.
For EVERY appointment you will need all garments you will be wearing with your gown. If any of these garments are changed after the first fitting please expect extra time and cost.
At your Bridal gown final fitting, please have the person who will be helping you with your gown the day of the wedding at your appointment. This allows me to show your helper the bustles and any other details about your gown. This will help you to have a stress-free dress day!
