About me
I enjoy spending time in adoration and attending daily Mass. One of my favorite things to do is just sit in church by my self, with a friend or family member in the presence of God. This past summer when I was home for a short while, my two littlest brothers and I would ride bikes to the church and just pray for fifteen minutes or so then finish our bike ride.
I enjoy going to art galleries and museums. I also really like to watch movies and read. I have a great appreciation for the fine arts and literature. I am passionate about art, design, and education and I would eventually like to teach art or graphic design in a university.
My girlfriend and I like to spend time together going places and partaking in activities but we also simply enjoy each other’s company in daily life. We’ve gone to the walk for life in Lincoln together for the past two or three years and in 2017 we went to the March for life in Washington DC with the Catholic Diocese of Lincoln. Speaking of the Catholic Church, I am also an active member of the Catholics at Concordia club and served as president of the club for the 2018-2019 school year.
I am always happy to see my family and be with them. I am the oldest of six. I have three brothers and two sisters. I am incredibly blessed to have the family I have.
I am a member of the track team as a pole vaulter. I enjoy vaulting but am not a big fan of the sports culture. Being a part of the track team is one of a few part-time jobs I have. I happen to enjoy it. I qualified for outdoor nationals last year and got to go Gulf Shores, Alabama to compete. The trip was pretty miserable and I didn’t really enjoy spending all that time with the track team, but I got to see the ocean for the first time and my whole family made the trip. I would like to vault higher this year, maybe around sixteen feet or even break the five meter mark.
I am currently employed by Concordia University as a print technician in the department of art and as a monitor for the Marxhausen Gallery. I am also employed by St. Vincent de Paul Church and School as a custodian and substitute extended care (after school day care) provider.
So there’s a little bit about me.
