Hello,
My name is Thomas Sautel and I am currently a senior at Concordia University, Nebraska. I am getting my degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing. Additionally, I started taking courses towards my MBA this past semester. I am part of the Bulldog baseball team and play third base. Although baseball is my greatest passion, I enjoy many other activities. These include: fishing, camping, hiking, ping pong, snowboarding, and traveling. Internationally, I have traveled to New Zealand, Germany, Austria, South Korea, Sweden, and Norway. Fuji will be my next stop this upcoming summer and then Australia in 2020. My active lifestyle is predominantly credited to the fact that I was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado.
At this time, my main focus and goals evolve around my education, baseball, and my future career. I would like to finish up my last semester here at Concordia in the strongest way possible and I am looking forward to receiving my undergraduate degree this May (fingers crossed!). Perhaps, I am even more thrilled to obtain my master of business administration in the spring of 2020. I am excited to see where I go after college and to begin my career!
I have created a personal vision and mission statement for one of my MBA classes and decided to include them below:
Vision: “My vision is to live each day with a robust purpose to influence others to be the best version of themselves. Through listening and serving others, I will learn new ideas and gain different perspectives. I will strive to use this acquired knowledge to change people’s lives for the better.”
Mission: “To be a difference maker. And to be known for inspiring others to be more than they thought they could be. I want to help people discover their purpose with the goal of helping them obtain a better life.”
These serve as a good representation of the things I value and I strive to live out both of these statements each day to the best of my ability.
Thank you!
