In today’s society, there has been a struggle to keep children safe from the dangers of hot cars. This article explains the science behind the hot temperatures in cars. The article explains the dangers of the heat waves that get trapped in the car and radiate from the interior materials. The article explains that the interior surfaces can easily reach temperatures of 150 degrees. This easily shows the dangers that come from hot cars and some tips on ways to prevent it.

After talking about campfires, I was curious to look further into the science of them. As a country girl, I have attended my fair share of campfires. However, I never knew the science surround them. This article articulates the inner workings of a campfire and even gives a brief history into their evolutionary significance.

For most everything that everyone cooks, you must use heat. This article explains and even shows how a convection oven works and uses gif like photos to demonstrate the concepts. It explains the fans, heating elements, and even the heat distribution. It even gives a little hit by showing the pros and cons of using a convection oven.

The scientific concept of heat is interesting and leaves many layers. This article explains how they work on a deeper level. Explaining matter, transfer of heat energy, changing states and more. It shows the science of campfires, radiation, conduction, and convection. With images and text, it works well to teach anyone a base of knowledge in the science of heat.
