One of the most common arguments against Christianity is that is doesn’t align with what we know as science and logic. This article sheds an interesting light on Christianity and Science and how they are not opposites of each other, but rather work together to prove the accuracy of each other. This article goes through the reality of both sides and then connects them to how they logically work together.

This article continues to look at the issue of science and religion coexisting, while diving into a more logistical perspective. This article gets into the nitty gritty of the argument and even pulls discussions about specific arguments from well-known philosophers such as Alvin Plantinga and Thomas Nagel. Having logical answers to these questions is important to be a Christian in modern society and be able to defend your belief systems.

This video is interesting to me because it dives into even the smallest aspects of science and connects them to religion. The speaker, is a Nobel Prize winner, established that science can only explain so much. Otherwise, we would know the answer to questions like, “Why am I here?”, “what the meaning of life is”, and “where do we go when we die”. This is also beneficial because it is a different style than reading which helps teach those who reading is not their best learning pattern. This talk is the perfect explanation of why a blind faith makes for a happier life.

I decided to include this article because it explains the opposite side of the science and religion debate. This is an article that argues that science disproves the Christian’s bible. This article explains examples such as using DNA testing to prove the existence of people in areas that the bible said were wiped out in a genocide. Whether these are valid disputes or not, it is important to listen to them. I thought this was important and interesting because, there are two sides to every argument. If we don’t take the time to recognize the opposing side, we can never fully defend our point of view.
